Accurate records of asset deployment are essential to ensure complete and timely billing, establish future definitive costing models and to comply with safety legislation. Amber and Amethyst provide a complete and easily interrogated database and records system, which when coupled with Today can be updated in real time and ensure date is validated at the point of entry.

Managing van stocks

When coupled with our scheduling and mobile work force solution GRASP, our asset tracking applications Amethyst and Amber can manage stock levels and replenishment orders down to individual van or operative level based on actual planned work and set replenishment levels. 

Managing warranties and fault trends

Amber and Amethyst enable full warranty details to be recorded and maintained against individual assets.  This ensures fully recovery of warranty claims in the unfortunate circumstances of asset failure. It also identifies failure trends and the planning of remedial and preventative actions.

JUMBO

Often referred to as “Wheatley MOP”, JUMBO is a metering asset management and data flow solution aimed at Meter Asset Maintainers (MAM) and Meter Asset Providers (MAP) that will process the industry flows for UK electricity and gas markets. Whether for smart or existing meters the solution provides automated validation and work processing, minimising back office effort and providing consistent compliance with mandatory data structures and information provision.  

Proven in implementations with portfolios of up to eight million meters, it is used by many of the largest metering businesses in the UK. JUMBO is also an attractive solution for new entrants or those meter operators targeting a niche element of the market and is available under a purchase, hosted or SaaS model.  By minimising back office interventions and dramatically improving data accuracy JUMBO helps deliver a competitive operating model and improves business credibility.

Amber

Browser based asset tracking and management. Amber manages the complete life cycle of assets throughout complex supply chains.  Amber will track any asset with a serial or batch number and can be used to manage stock levels, replenishments, stock issue, usage, warranties, and asset reallocations.  

Amethyst

For meter operators, Amethyst can interface directly with the UK energy data networks to access the mandatory asset update information contained within the utility industries DTN and RGMA data flows. In this environment the application can be configured for either meter  asset maintainers (MAM) concerned with the location and operation of assets (including meters, IHD, WAN and HAN modules)  or for meter asset providers (MAP) focused on where the asset is being utilised and who should be charged.  

Coral

Coral provides web service integration capabilities between JUMBO and other third party applications. Specifically developed to allow simplified operation with workforce management and CRM systems, Coral provides standards-based integration of core functions between these modules.

InterLect

Interlect automates the creation of planned asset maintenance work based on the information stored in JUMBO.

InterLect enables the creation of specific campaigns enabling the work planning and scheduling of non-customer driven work within a MAM’s portfolio. InterLect interfaces with customers’ work management solutions and CRM packages to drive customer contact including letters, telephone calls and SMS to inform and confirm planned work.

InterLect can also be utilised to drive other targeted campaigns such Smart Meter roll out.

UMSIPS

UMSIPS is used by an Unmetered Supplies Operator (UMSO) to manage inventories of unmetered electricity equipment, such as street lights.  UMSIPS calculates the estimated consumption for non-half hourly inventories and collates summary details on half hourly inventories.

Smart roll-out optimiser

The Smart roll-out optimiser focuses on the critical areas of Smart Meter installation planning, customer engagement and workforce utilisation. It is used by meter installers to model hypothetical installation schedule scenarios to optimise Smart Meter installation plans.
