New Automatic Meter Reading (AMR Database)

Wheatley Associates announces an all new AMR Asset Database ARMADA (Automatically Reading Meters Alarms Database Assets).

Suffolk, UK - January 2006 - John Wheatley Managing Director announced “We currently manage 75% of the UK metering assets but we know the UK market will change in 2006/2007 as more energy suppliers look to adopt the innovative opportunities offered by Automatic Meter Reading. It is our job to be ahead of what our customers want and be ready with solutions that can manage millions of meters from many manufacturers.”

ARMADA will become part of the JUMBO (Joint Utilities Metering Business Operation) suite of software. Our whole mix of skills will be enabled in this development. Innovative internet solutions, mapping, maintenance work and meter read scheduling and the ability to manage a wide variety of remote communication devices. The software is expected to be commercially available in September 2006.
