GRASP integrates with TomTom®

Road routing now available with GRASP

Suffolk, UK - November 2007 - Wheatley Associates announces that its GRASP scheduling and hand held software has been integrated with the TomTom® Navigator 6 GPS satellite navigation software.

GRASP is Wheatley Associates’ internet based appointment booking, scheduling and hand held solution which is widely used across the utility and social housing sectors in the UK.

This new functionality will enable users of Wheatley Associates’ GRASP solution to be automatically routed between appointments using their PDA. The TomTom® software is integrated in such a way that once a job has been selected on the PDA the TomTom® software will guide the operative from their current location to the new appointment. All the features of the TomTom® software package are available, such as voice guidance and a visual map display of the route.

The incorporation of this technology into GRASP means that operatives who are not familiar with the area to which they are being sent can now be accurately guided along the most effective route, ensuring they meet their allocated appointment times.
