Wheatley Associates supports United Utilities expansion.

Wheatley Associates announces the delivery of JUMBO, the multi utility software solution for managing and tracking metering assets. The JUMBO (Joint Utilities Metering Business Operation) software will be used by United Utilities to support their recently announced contract with British Gas to provide gas and electricity metering services in the North of England.

John Wheatley Managing Director commented "This will add a further 5 million metering assets to the existing 16 million our software currently manages in the UK."

The solution includes upgraded versions of ASSIGN and TODAY to support multi utility working, plus GPRS Netpad hand held units supplied by PSION Teklogix.
